Oh no - just got a call to be at an appointment that was scheduled for a later time, but no flex to change it but not ready to walk out the door and haven't even gotten to my makeup!!!! Has that ever happened to you? Well it has on this side of the screen and I am here to share with you what steps to take to be ready for anything before your morning gets' away from you and feelings of anger, frustration and or change of mood into a negative spiral effect starts. When your day can start calm and cool even in the chaos, you are on top of your game!
First off, never ever try to put your makeup on in your car either in PARK or while driving. There are several reasons. First, it's nobody's business to see and watch you putting on your makeup (now of course, I am not talking about touch up with your lipstick), but either foundation, eyeshadow, mascara etc. that's private, period; (Alright, for those you who don't care if others see you doing this, well, that's your choice, but have little self respect for your self!) Secondly, and foremost is safety. There's enough distraction on the road already!!! Why should you create another and increase the risk of getting into an accident as well as possibly hurting some one else? Exactly, you got the picture. Now....
I've created a 3 minute beauty kit that will give a clean fresh flawless look but the key is staying calm and focused while taking care of your self. You want to have your kit always ready and fresh. Don't go looking for the 3 items when you are already press for time.
So with your kit start by taking a deep breath, relax and know you will look great and be where you need to be in perfect time and everything else will fall into place just like you want it to.
The 3 key products for your Quick Beauty Kit are:
1. Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation- Why? You want a foundation that's self setting, goes on smooth, protects and hydrates the skin particularly if you didn't put on your moisturizer. I love this product because it has a primer in it as well as sunscreen properties all in one to make it a quick, complete, flawless application. This is Free of oil, wax, dye and talc is safe, practical and effective on all skin types & colors. It's perfect. Oh and regarding your tools. You can use a sponge since they are disposal, and you don't have to worry about cleaning of brushes. Under normal circumstances always use a foundation brush (for liquid) and or a powder brush (mineral powder foundation).
