3 Foods to Add to Your Diet

Here are  3 foods to add to your diet—that help fight cancer. (1) Antioxidant-rich turmeric, the Indian spice that's great in curries and side dishes. There's evidence it helps improves indigestion, osteoarthritis and colitis. (2) Omega-3 fatty acids flaxseed (sprinkle on oatmeal, yogurt, cottage cheese, in smoothies) and chia seeds (use in recovery drinks, soups, salad dressings, yogurt, eggs, etc.). (3) Kale, also touting antioxidant benefits. Smoothie: Mix 1 cup kale, 1/2 frozen banana, 1/4 cup blueberries, 1 TBL flaxseed, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk.
