3 Runway Ponytail Looks

I love Wendy's videos and when I found this one, knew I had to post it.

"Hi Everyone! We're taking the traditional ponytail and giving it a spin today. We're going to create 3 ponytail looks - a soft wave ponytail, a messy wrap ponytail, and a keyhole ponytail. I think sometimes the ponytail gets a bad rep for being 'lazy', but in my humble opinion, I love it because it's versatile, fuss-free, and dramatic. Thank you so much for watching!"

Tools :
- Hair ties
- Bobby pins
- Teasing comb
- Hairspray
- Oil & paste for sculpting
- Curling iron

How to Color Chalk Your Hair

What????  Yes, this is really a cool beauty trend and style for today's hair. This new technique is very popular and offers a lot of pastel chalk colors to choose from as well as different looks.

Hair color chalk So what is it ? Chalking is a great way to add temporary color to your hair.  You can create stylist streaks, or focus on one color in a particular area or blend it all with multicolor when braiding the hair.

There's no worriers for it's not at all like permanent hair color products. Hair chalk is a great solution for non permanent coloring that makes a personalized statement about you!  Such a fun way to try one of Hollywood’s hottest hair trends! Here’s a few tips for learning how to chalk your hair!

Here's what you need:
  • Wear an cape or old shirt to protect your clothes OR put a towel around you and clip it together.
  • Gloves
  • Soft pastels but not oil pastes for it may stain your hair
Here we go...

1. Dampen the hair where you would like the colors.
2. Rub hair color chalks on the damp section of hair. You can twist the hair to distribute more color.
3. For longer lasting colors, straighten or curl the hair using heat.
4. Once you have achieved the color you want, just brush and style to get the perfect look

If you are applying the chalk on dry hair, then wet the pastel chalk first and then rub on your hair.
To remove the hair color chalk, shampoo your hair and the colors will fade. Easy!

I would love to hear what colors you have chalked your hair!
